A Cognitive Behavioural Therapist can help you to identify and change your unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, with the aim of improving the way you feel and live your life.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an effective psychological treatment for:

  • Moderate to severe depression
  • Complex anxiety problems
  • Social anxiety
  • Post traumatic stress problems
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder

Together with a CBT therapist you will be able to look at how changing what you do and how you think can improve the way you feel.

You can find out more about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the BABCP website and in this CBT booklet.
